MIAMI BEACH -- Oral sulfasalazine appears to be a good steroid-sparing alternative for patients whose chronic idiopathic urticaria does not respond to antihistamines, Dr. Laura McGirt reported in a poster that was presented at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
