Regarding your February report "Staying Well: 10 Tips for a Healthful 2006," while vitamin D may be one benefit of exposure to ultraviolet rays from the sun, people should not increase their exposure to either natural or artificial UV light because there is a high risk of developing skin cancer from repeated exposure.
