Reviewing the status of women in academe.
What is the current status of women in academe? To explore that question, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators presented a panel of women leaders at its annual conference in Washington DC in March. Each considered her journey, influences and lessons learned.
They were Rosie Stallman, former NCAA director of education outreach; Claire Van Ummersen, VP at the American Council on Education and head of the association's Center for Effective Leadership; Michele Wetherald, executive director of AAUW, and Leslie Wolfe, president of the Center for Women Policy Studies.
