NEW YORK -- Citigroup and Women's World Banking have launched a global program to host a series of workshops to strengthen the financial risk management capabilities of microfinance institutions (MFIs). The program will help MFIs develop clear financial strategies and risk management systems, so that they can gain increased access to capital to fuel their institutional growth and client outreach. The next workshop will take place in Hyderabad, India, July 12-14, and will be hosted by Sa-Dhan, the Association of Community Development Finance Institutions.
