I want to mention that I am subscribing out of gratitude as well as interest. I wanted to replace my entire stereo system, and was about to start by purchasing a pair of B&Ws when I happened to spot David Rich's review of the Infinity Beta 40s while browsing magazines at Barnes & Noble. I had no sooner auditioned them at Circuit City, coming away impressed, when I saw the Beta 50s on the Circuit City website at a price so low that I now believe it to have been an error (They were less than the 40s.) I snapped them up. Thanks to David Rich, I not only got fabulous speakers, but saved so much money that I was able to buy an entire system--speakers, turntable, tape deck, Onkyo receiver, CD player, stereo stand, and 400-CD capacity CD cabinet--for less than I had budgeted for loudspeakers alone. As a bonus, the unique metal grills on the Beta 50s render the speakers impregnable to cats, of which I have too many. Please thank David Rich for me.
I wish you would review Ohm Walsh speakers. I've been aware of them for years but have never had a chance to hear them. Another subject I would like to ...
