'Can a manufacturer's relationship with its dealers be rekindled once burnt out? You bet It can! Just look at the rejuvenation of Bridgestone/Firestone (BFS) over the past two years. BFS has increased its combined passenger and light truck tire market share by 20% since the end of 1991 without adding any major new distribution channels. Hats off to Sunil Kumar and his team for a Job well done.'

A number of independent tire dealers were surveyed concerning current business trends. The results of the May 1994 survey are compared with those of May 1993.
