While some may see fantasy as an escape into faraway realms of magic and wonder, there are plenty of us who understand that it's really about our everyday lives. When a computer meltdown burns up hours of work in an instant, or some jackass in a Hummer cuts us off in traffic, what guy hasn't wanted to reach for his trusty broadsword to vanquish the minions of darkness? Of course, in the real world, sword and/or sorcery will land you on the 6 o'clock news and/or a jail cell, but we can dream, can't we?
