Why are shows like "Pimp My Ride" and "Orange County Choppers" so popular? Although the characters are interesting to watch, and they make most of us feel better about our own family relations, it's doubtful many would tune in to see the head of a somewhat dysfunctional clan, giant Mr. Walrus Mustache, go off on his offspring. The real star of all hop-up shows is the custom vehicle.

Similar to refurbishing a house, renovating a classic car and hand-built choppers, customizing an ATV has also become commonplace these days. ATV riders have been known to get really creative with their artwork. A trip to the dunes will quickly show you that. We like the flash too, but our goal is usually performance. A common performance item for quads is a set of A-arms.
Nearly every ATV race quad found on the track (many trail and dune machines, too) will have purchased a set of aftermarket A-arms and shocks for his ATV. A-arms can truly change the characteristics of any quad, and will almost certainly help both a racer and a trail rider alike, by making the quad handle better through the corners, and become more stable in the rough stuff.
