Pitcher Kameron Loe has a hard time finding a Rangers teammate who will hold Angel, the 7-foot boa constrictor he likes to bring into the clubhouse.
Last year Alfonso Soriano ran whenever he saw Angel coming, and this year it's pretty much the same with other teammates. Texas manager Buck Showalter isn't eager to pet the elegant visitor, either.
"Buck thinks she's a beautiful snake," Loe says diplomatically, "but he doesn't necessarily want to hold her."
