More than 75% of women age 40 years and older reported in surveys that they have had a mammogram in the past 2 years, according to a study published in the July/August issue of the American Journal of Health Promotion. This exceeds the Healthy People 2010 target of 70% of women age 40 and older having a mammogram in the last 2 years.
