Arizona: A recently released study from the Arizona State Board of Nursing reveals both good and bad news about Arizona's nursing shortage. On the positive side, Arizona's registered nursing program admissions and enrollments, as well as numbers of graduates and nurses taking the NCLEX exam, increased substantially in 2005. Nursing program enrollment increased 24 percent in 2005, the fourth straight year since 2001.
