Some lucky teachers working on master's degrees will receive a lesson in pond ecology later this month from groups of second, third and fourth graders as part of the University of Mississippi Field Station's annual Summer Ecology Day Camp.
Camp instructor Mike Wallace said the water quality lesson is his favorite part of the camp because the children actually show off their newfound environmental knowledge to new teachers.
