CANBERRA, July 3 Asia Pulse - Retail trade turnover dipped 0.3 per cent to A$17.8 billion (US$13.2 billion) in May, new figures released today show.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics said the fall followed revised increases in April and March.
There was a 1.9 per cent fall in department stores turnover, while clothing, soft goods and other retailing slipped 1.4 per cent during the month.
