CANBERRA, July 3 Asia Pulse - The value of Australian-produced export goods increased by 19 per cent, and service exports by four per cent, during the 2005 calendar year, analysis by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) shows.
A DFAT publication released tonight provides a breakdown of Australia's exports, which grew by 15 per cent last year.
The analysis shows primary products are continuing to fuel growth in Australian exports.
Primary products, which account for 66 per cent of Australia's merchandise exports, rose 24 per cent to $A87.1 billion ($US64.2 billion) in 2005, reflecting strong rises in fuel and mineral exports and higher processed food exports. ...
