Hutchison buys 5.1% Hinduja stake in Hutch-Essar for $450 mn
New Delhi, Jun 30 (PTI) Hutchison Telecommunication (India) today entered into an agreement with Hinduja TMT to acquire an additonal 5.11 per cent stake in the unlisted Indian cellular JV of Hutchison Essar for 450 million dollar.
"Hutchison Telecommunications International today announced that its wholly-owned Indian subsidiary has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of a further 5.11 per cent stake in Hutchsion Essar from affiliates of Hinduja group for 450 million dollar," a statement from the Hong Kong-based telecom major said....
