NHS ambulance trusts in England are to be given a GBP25 million boost to help deliver further improvements to response times for the most urgent calls, under a new incentive scheme announced today by Health Minister Lord Warner.
The scheme has been set up to deliver additional investment in new control room technology and vehicles that will allow ambulance trusts to achieve even higher standards in responding to life-threatening emergencies.
