Home Office Minister Tony McNulty today challenged police and practitioners to take a more robust and unremitting approach to tackling anti-social behaviour by making maximum use of the dispersal powers available to them.
At the same time he announced that GBP500,000 would be available for 10 local areas to champion a summer crackdown on criminal damage by identifying their criminal damage hotspots and taking action to improve them, with a particular focus on the evening economy and alcohol-related disorder.
