Jun. 30--They roam the streets during the day, sometimes alone, sometimes in packs. They sift through flower beds, burrow under decks and breed in backyard sheds. No one knows where they are coming from, but residents of one quiet West Babylon neighborhood know who the invaders are: rats. One man said he has seen rats in his backyard four times this spring.
