Jun. 30--If the measure of a life is how many people's lives it has affected, then Ronald Barry had an unusually productive life. Barry - to me it will always be Mr. Barry - was my English teacher, high school newspaper adviser and lifelong friend. But I can assure you that I was only one among hundreds, even thousands, of young people this man touched in his long career at Syosset High School.
