(BNamericas.com) - The Andean Development Corporation (CAF) has approved two partial credit guarantees worth US$211mn for the development of Peru's Interoceanico Sur highway stretches 2 and 3, CAF reported in a release.
The support consists of a US$83mn partial credit guarantee for the development of the highway's stretch 2, while a US$128mn partial credit guarantee was approved for the development of stretch 3.
The stretches, which will total 703km, will connect the departments of Cuzco, Puno and Madre de Dios, and will establish the first highway system that connects with Brazil.
