Prospective students at the University of South Florida at Sarasota-Manatee learned about classes and the new campus at an information session Tuesday.
Sarasota resident Joseph Johnson, 21, said the information session was helpful, and the academic adviser to whom he talked to was knowledgeable. Johnson has already applied to the school and will study engineering if he is accepted.
Terri Hanlon, academic administrator at the College of Nursing, and one of the academic advisers at the session said the new campus, "is going to generate a lot of excitement and increase the awareness that we are here."
