NEW YORK (Reuters)--Lucent Technologies Inc. on Tuesday named its corporate controller, John Kritzmacher, as chief financial officer.

Kritzmacher replaces Frank D'Amelio, 48, who was named chief operating officer on January 13. D'Amelio was serving as interim CFO.

Kritzmacher, 45, had been Lucent's corporate controller since 2001, the company said....
