Sunscreen-the very thing designed to protect us from UV rays-needs its own protection, too. Avobenzone, the sunscreen also known as Parsol 1789, begins to lose its UVA-blocking power after about two hours of sun exposure. To address this problem, Neutrogena fortified its sunscreens with Helioplex, a chemical that stabilizes Parsol to keep it potent for up to four hours. "This is the highest level of UVA protection-in both strength and stamina-available on the market in the United States," says dermatologist James M. Spencer.

Bottom Line: The Fresh Cooling Body Mist Sunblock felt light and clean, and we loved its crisp, green scent. -LIZ KRIEGER
