The National Institutes of Health is asking scientists to provide public access to published peer-reviewed articles that result in whole or in part from NIH-funded research.
Under a policy announced Feb. 3, NIH is requesting that authors submit their publication-ready manuscript, including all of the changes resulting from the peer-review process, to PubMed Central (www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov), a digital repository managed by NIH's National Library of Science.
