JUST like the drink, John McGuinness was smiling last night when he became the fastest rider in practice so far this week for the Isle of Man TT races which commence on Saturday.
On the other hand one of his main rivals, Adrian Archibald, was completely out of luck with a 'sick' bike which left him stranded!
Riding for the official Honda team and in near enough perfect conditions, McGuinness was credited with a speed of 125.26 mph which is 'slow' compared to his outright lap record of 127.32 achieved on Yamaha.
