NEW YORK -- MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) announced today that the sale of SSRM Holdings Inc. to BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE: BLK) has been completed. SSRM Holdings is the holding company of State Street Research & Management Company and SSR Realty Advisors Inc. The companies announced the transaction on August 26, 2004. The transaction has received required approvals, including regulatory approvals.
