CHICAGO -- Renowned transplantation experts from around the globe will gather at the 3rd International Conference on Living Donor Abdominal Organ Transplantation in Sardegna, Italy, June 23 - 24.

The conference has been organized by the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Minnesota.

Transplant professionals, administrators, ethicists, social workers and policymakers will gather to discuss the latest medical advances and surgical technologies, ethical issues for and against living-donor transplantation, new strategies for increasing organ donation, and appropriate selection of living-donor candidates.
