SEOUL, June 1 Asia Pulse - The South Korean government said Thursday it has opened the way for the import of Chilean oranges.
The move brings to six the number of nations allowed to export oranges to South Korea after the United States, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Spain, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry said.
The ministry will soon dispatch a team to Chile to carry out inspections of exporting orchards as is required by South Korean regulations, it said.
