Couple face weapon and drug charges
SARASOTA -- Police arrested a couple after undercover detectives said they found heroin and a handgun in their home last week.
Detectives searching the home found about a pound of heroin and 13 grams of marijuana in the home, located in the 2000 block of 6th Street. They also found a .380 semi-automatic Browning handgun, according to reports. Detectives found bullets for the gun in a bedroom safe along with a scale for weighing drugs.
Officers arrested Cecilia E. Martinetti, 30, and James P. Russell Jr., 28.
