John Cho has been appointed as the senior consultant for Transatlantic Reinsurance Company's Hong Kong office, with special responsibilities developing the Asian market and governmental liaison, particularly as the company steps up its Greater China initiatives. He will also monitor regulatory change and development in other countries throughout the region.
At the same time, Peter Ho, who currently heads up the treaty business, will also be promoted as general manager of the Hong Kong office, where he will take over Mr Cho's management duties and responsibilities.
David Greenfield will join Axis Capital Holdings as chief financial officer during the third quarter. Mr Greenfield will also join the company's executive management group, reporting directly to John Charman, chief executive and president of AXIS Capital.
Mr Greenfield joins AXIS Capital from KPMG LLP, where he began his career and worked for nearly 22 years with clients in the financial services industry.
Crawford & Company has appointed Alison McKinna as customer services manager within its National Building Services (NBS) unit.
Ms McKinna has an extensive background of operational management in the financial services and retail sectors, and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality service to customers within environments regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Her previous position was at Capital One Bank (Europe), where she was group manager of enterprise risk.
