Axa will take referred commercial business direct from brokers' websites under a 'white labelling' scheme, Post Magazine can reveal.
The pilot project will see larger brokers offering links to underwriters on their websites for micro-business, which is not economical to broker traditionally. The pilot is currently being trialled by two brokers using tradesman's products.
Frank Woods, Axa's premier partner distribution manager, said the scheme was not intended to be mass market since only a few brokers received high volumes of website traffic and had usable brands.
