The ex-director of The Accident Group, Mark Langford, has finally filed evidence against proceedings brought by the Department of Trade and Industry, despite being debarred last month.

Mr Langford and his wife could be disqualified from holding a directorship for up to 15 years following the proceedings being brought by the Insolvency Service, which is part of the DTI.
