Organic growth made up a significant portion of the Jelf Group's turnover for the first half of the year, despite its busy acquisition programme.
The results, for the six months up to 31 March - which do not include recent acquisitions of Goss Group and BD Thomas - showed turnover increased by 53% to GBP7.5m (2005: GBP4.9m) and earnings before interest, tax depreciation and amortisation up 75% to GBP0.82m (2005: GBP0.47m).
Alex Alway, Jelf Group chief executive, hailed the results as showing that the company was achieving natural uplift as he pointed out that 29% of the turnover increase was not related to acquisitions.
