Alexander Forbes has recruited Mike Hammond, former Marsh UK and JLT Risk Solutions chief executive, as deputy chairman of international risk services to strengthen its global energy business.
Mr Hammond, who joins this week, will swap roles with John Percy Davis, executive chairman of the broker's international operations, in December.
Stewart McCulloch, chief executive of international risk services at the broker, said: "We have ambitious plans as shown by our recent recruitments. We are hiring client people, and Mike is a specialist trading broker with a significant following in his area of expertise. Going forward, we will have a client-orientated approach."
