Westhill gears up for charity bike ride.

Charity bike ride organisers are on track to raise more than GBP1,000 for two causes this weekend.

The 8th annual Westhill Bike Ride takes place on Sunday in aid of Cash for Kids and Cancer Research.

The event is open to people of all ages and abilities and takes in a picturesque route from the village along countryside roads around Skene.

Graham Ogston, who is helping to organise the event, said it had gone from strength to strength.
