MANILA, May 31 Asia Pulse - The Department of Health (DOH) has tapped famous personalities for its anti-smoking campaign.
"We have actors, beauty queens and actresses to endorse non-smoking and reveal the real image of smoking," Dr. Maria Encarnita Limpin, president of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, said in a press conference Wednesday.
"By smoking, we degrade the environment. I hope everyone will realize that smoking is bad for the body and hurts the ecosystem," Miss Earth-Philippines Catherine Untalan added.
