NEW DELHIi, June 1 Asia Pulse - In an effort to fill gaps in service offerings and in geographies, software major Infosys Technologies (BSE:500209) is looking for acquisitions of companies in US $50-100 million revenue range.
"We are looking at acquisitions in specific verticals like banking or health care or life sciences as these are the areas in which we want to accelerate growth.. and we are looking at acquiring companies in specific geographies again to accelerate our entry in to those grographies," Kris Gopalakrishnan, COO and deputy MD, Infosys said here.
"Revenue of US$50-100 million would be considered reasonable but we cannot take that for granted," he said.
Gopalakrishnan said if there is an opportunity for acquiring a company larger than that, the company would also look at it seriously.
