2006 stats: 6-2 in nine games (all starts), with a 2.73 ERA, Has 56 strikeouts and 20 walks in 56 innings.
Throws: His best pitches are a cut fastball that tops out at 93 mph and a four-seam fastball with late life that reaches the upper 90s. Also throws a hard slider that has good tilt when thrown from the windup but is not as effective when thrown from the stretch. Throws a low-80s changeup with decent dive and still is learning how to change speeds with it.
