Matt Barlow Aaron Lennon's late surge through the England ranks will not threaten David Beckham's starting place, according to coach Sven Goran Eriksson.
The Swede has been thrilled with former Leeds United winger Lennon's progress over the last few months.
The Tottenham teenager forced his way into the World Cup squad at the expense of Chelsea's GBP21m Shaun Wright-Phillips.
He then dazzled for Eriksson's B team in their defeat to Belarus, but it will not be enough to oust the 31-year-old England captain from the starting line-up.
