BEIJING, May 29 Asia Pulse - PetroChina (HKSE:0857), the country's biggest oil and gas producer, plans to spend about US$500 million to build underground natural gas storage facilities in the provinces of Jiangsu and Anhui.
"Eventual capacity of these gas storage facilities could reach as much as 2 billion cubic metres (bcm)," Zhai Guangming, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said at an energy forum in Beijing on Friday.
