In an ironic twist, a Presbyterian university and a former professor are accusing each other of unethical behavior in the attempted creation of a campus ethics program.

The University of Dubuque IA claimed that Paul Jeffries, a former professor, committed an ethical violation after being offered the job to help lead the school's new ethics program.

The school offered him a written contract for the position, which he accepted but crossed out the provision that his salary would remain unchanged. He also objected to the contract language that allowed the university to reclaim his salary if he made ...
