An internal investigation determined that Penn State women's basketball coach Rene Portland is guilty of discriminating against former player Jennifer Harris by creating a "hostile, intimidating and offensive environment," due to her perceiving Harris as a lesbian and Harris being black.
Disciplinary measures against Portland include:
* a $10,000 fine
* a written reprimand in her personnel file
* a requirement to participate in diversity training
