SAN FRANCISCO -- Intramuscular injections of botulinum A toxin reduce spasticity and increase function in upper extremities of children with cerebral palsy, particularly in those who are moderately affected, L. Andrew Koman, M.D., said at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
