American Music. Vol. 23, no. 1 (Spring 2005): Editing American Music: Perspectives on the MUSA Series. This volume celebrates the monument that helped establish American music as worthy of study. Contains an article by Richard Crawford on the history of MUSA and articles discussing the challenges and considerations involved in creating a critical edition of American music-specifically Hawaiian and Rock music.
