RTI International announced on November 14 that it has been awarded a four-year contract from the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) to identify emerging trends in drug use. RTI has been a long-time contributor to key studies such as the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), and has been using the Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN) since 1972 to track and identify changes in drug use with great specificity.
