NEW YORK -- More Consumers Are Talking to Doctors About Prescription Drugs than Ever Before
Rodale Inc.'s Prevention, Men's Health and Women's Health magazines will announce the results of its 9th annual national DTC survey to more than 200 pharmaceutical executives and industry leaders in a presentation on Thursday, May 11, at the W Hotel. The survey is conducted with technical assistance from the FDA's Division of Drug Marketing, Advertising and Communication (FDA-DDMAC), and is one of the primary consumer studies that inform the FDA's stance on DTC issues. This year's key findings show how more consumers are engaged by DTC advertising and as a result, are increasingly talking to their doctors about advertised prescription medicines.
