Cinco de Mayo is Friday and many students celebrate this event by having a good time and a couple of drinks.
"For Cinco de Mayo, I am going to U of I [the University of Illinois] to hang out with friends. We are going to drink margaritas and wear plastic sombreros," Lauren Lubas, Illinois State University junior English major, said.
