On January 13, Rufus Lynch walked into a Domino's Pizza store in South Fulton County, Georgia, to order a pizza and was turned into a hero. And not the kind of hero--or "sub"--usually sold by pizzerias, either.

On the night of "the incident," Mr. Lynch was sitting while waiting for his pizza when an armed robber came in and demanded money. The 20-year-old gunman attempted to fire his weapon, but his pistol jammed.
