Plymstock added the Throgmorton Cup to their runners-up trophy after beating Ottery St Mary 2-1 at Lord's Meadow.

The Plymouth-based side withstood a heavy Ottery bombardment in the second half to snatch their winner on 67 minutes to leave the East-Devon side wondering how they were collecting losers' medals after the final whistle.

The Otters even had the boost of a sixth minute lead when Nigel Vaughn-Ryall swung the ball over from the right and Shane Gill's flick-on found Tim Whiteoak coming in at the far post to shoot home.
