TAIPEI, May 3 Asia Pulse - President Chen Shui-bian said Tuesday that March's unemployment rate -- 3.87 per cent -- is the lowest in almost six years, and that the government will closely examine the issue of whether to allow the importation of Chinese labor into Taiwan.
During a meeting with labor representatives at the Presidential Office, he said the government will continue pushing for the inclusion in the Constitution of labor union rights, negotiation rights and dispute rights.
